Nathan started his career at Preventive as a Albuquerque Pest Control technician and quickly showed a talent for attention to detail, work ethic, and making sure customers’ needs were met. He has a strong background in construction, lawn-care, and home repair. He is a gifted athlete, and volunteers on weekends with community youth in sports. Nathan is also a den leader for the Cub Scouts of America.

Brian is responsible for developing training and quality control. He has a strong background in community service, having worked as a Paramedic and a Firefighter off and on for the past few years. He played college football at the University of New Mexico. Brian is a fluent Spanish speaker and an avid outdoorsman.

Chesley Elkins - General Manager

After 18 months as a technician, Chesley accepted a position as a service manager, and two years later, took over as general manager of operations. He has worked to develop the termite division of Preventive Pest Control and has developed programs for increased route efficiency and internal processes. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Pest Management Association. Chesley enjoys playing guitar, writing songs, and debating economics.

Emily Sigmon - Office Supervisor

Emily is responsible for the Customer Service and Administrative staff. In her spare time, Emily enjoys snowboarding and volunteering at Watermelon Ranch and various other animal related charities. She is also working on furthering her education in the field of biology.

Derek Thomas - Commercial Specialist

Derek worked as a technician and outside sales rep. before assuming the newly created Commercial Specialist position in August, 2007. Prior to working at Preventive, He worked in a veterinarian office and in construction as an installer of heating/air-conditioning systems. Derek enjoys Mixed Martial Arts, training horses, and spending time with his family.
