Kevin was born in Cleveland, Ohio where he received his bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. He started with Preventive Pest Control when we opened in Las Vegas in 2002; he was a technician for one year and has been a manager since. He loves the opportunity to share the experiences he has gained with the technicians and to build their confidence in Preventive, knowing that we will not be going anywhere even when the economy seems to ever plummet.

Brandon Guillermo, Assistant Branch Manager, State Certified Pest Control Expert for Preventive Pest Control Las Vegas
Brandon was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and moved around while his father was in the military. He has been in Las Vegas for almost 20 years and has seen the Las Vegas area grow tremendously. Brandon has enjoyed getting to know the people of Vegas through different jobs. He started working for Preventive Pest Control in the summer of 2005; he was a tech for two and a half then moved into management. He was married in the summer of 2007 to beautiful wife who consumes his time when he is not working. He loves being able to answer questions that always arise as the pest control business is full of surprises. He also enjoys talking with customers and making sure they are taken care of. He enjoys working for Preventive Pest Control and is happy to be a part of the family.

Know Your Technician

Kevin Brooks Vandreew, State certified Pest Control Expert for Preventive Pest Control Las Vegas
Kevin has been with the company for three years. He is a struggling local artist and is also attending the College EMS program to one day become a paramedic. Kevin was our service manager for the summer of 2008 and took care of problems that arose in the field as well as the major scorpion problem that stung the Henderson area; we call him, “The Scorpion King.” His knowledge of pests and chemicals are unbelievable and if he does not know the answer to your questions, he will definitely do the research to find the answer in a timely fashion. You’ll find Brooks servicing the Southwest area of Henderson.

Adam Schmidt, State certified Pest Control Expert for Preventive Pest Control Las Vegas
Adam is our part-time technician and is currently attending school to become a dentist. He enjoys snowboarding in the winter and camping in the summer. He has been with the company for two years and is able to answer any questions that may arise about pests and chemicals. Adam covers the North area of Las Vegas.

David Lee, State certified Pest Control Expert for Preventive Pest Control Las Vegas
David is married with 2 beautiful daughters. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran and is originally from New York City, New York. He has been in Vegas for now 11 years. David has been in the pest control business for about eight years. Two of those years have been happily spent with the Preventive Pest Control family. David gets the job done and is very dedicated to his customers and making them happy. You’ll find David treating homes in the Northwest area of the Las Vegas valley.

Brad Ward, State certified Pest Control Expert for Preventive Pest Control Las Vegas
Brad has been in the Las Vegas valley for over 30 years and has been with Preventive Pest Control for 18 months. Brad said, “Preventive Pest Control has been a great company to work for, some of the benefits are continuing education and career advancement. Outside of the workplace I spend most of my time with my daughter and her busy schedule. We also like to go camping, hiking and riding in our free time.” Brad is not only dedicated to his beautiful daughter, but also to the bettering of the company. He is willing to do whatever it takes to please the customer and leave them with a smile on their face. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of the pest control industry. You’ll find Brad treating Henderson and the Southeast area of Las Vegas.

Zack Russell, State certified Pest Control Expert for Preventive Pest Control Las Vegas
Zack is one of our younger technicians in age. He has been with us for one year and is having a great time making people happy with their service and being able to crack a couple of jokes here and there. He spends his spare time with his girlfriend. When he’s not with her you can catch him out playing volleyball or skateboarding. He is an Eagle Scout and hopes to be acting in Hollywood in the near future. You can find Zack in the south area of Summerlin in the Las Vegas Valley.

Nestor Berzunza, State certified Pest Control Expert for Preventive Pest Control Las Vegas
Nestor was born in Los Angeles, California. If anyone were to describe Nestor with one word it would be, “funny.” When he’s not working he spends his time working on his car, playing dominos and spending time with his wife and 18-month-old daughter. He comes from a family of 10 brothers and sisters and knows the difficulties of trying to make them all happy. Nestor is able to have empathy for customers when things are wrong and is quickly able to make the right decisions to help customers feel that we really do care about their business. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to german roaches and bedbug services and is very skillful in decreasing the numbers drastically. Nestor is also our Spanish-speaking tech and you’ll find him covering the Eastern area of Las Vegas.

Edwin, Las Vegas
“I highly enjoy what I do at Preventive Pest Control as a technician. I have awesome co-workers, team leaders as well as clients that I get to visit every two months. I even look forward to visiting their growling dogs.” Edwin has been with Preventive for one year now and is always looking for ways to improve himself as well as others. You’ll find Edwin treating the Henderson area.

Secretaries

Erica Zapata, Secretary - Las Vegas
Erica is our Spanish speaking secretary originally from New York and has been in Las Vegas for four years. She has two beautiful kids and spends her free time watching her daughter play soccer and playing the Wii with her three-year-old son. She also loves playing BINGO at the casinos, especially if she wins, and spending quality time with her boyfriend. Erica has been with Preventive for over a year and a half and has seen the economy’s effect on our customers. She knows the financial difficulties that our customers face and is giving 110% to help customers resolve any billing issues so that Preventive is not on your list of financial worries.
