No. When you sign the service agreement, you agree to stay with Preventive Pest Control for at least one year. After that you can stay as long as you’d like. We hope you will be with us for the next 20 years. We will provide you with a comprehensive pest control service and a satisfaction or money back guarantee. We promise to perform a quality service for you.

Yes. Our main goal is to satisfy you as a customer. We will work hard to earn your business because we want you to be with us for years to come. Preventive Pest Control has found that the best way to provide you with the quality of service that you want is to service your home year-round on a bi-monthly basis (every other month) or quarterly basis (every three months). We will invest a significant amount of time and money to satisfy you as a customer and keep your home free of pests. In return, we simply ask that you stay with us for at least 12 months. Of course we are sure that you will be satisfied with the quality of service we provide and will want to stay with us for many years.

Preventive Pest Control covers a wide local area and we are in several different states (New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Nevada, and California). If you are moving to one of these areas, we would be happy to transfer the service free of charge. You simply need to notify the office of your new address before you move.

That’s a good question. In fact, a lot of people ask that same thing. Bugs are very tenacious! In order to get rid of annoying pests and keep them out of your home, a regular service is necessary. A regular service is also necessary to break the pest development cycle. Insect eggs are resistant to pesticides. So even though we service your home this month, most of the eggs that pests have already laid will hatch next month. A regular service agreement provides you with year-round protection from your pests as well as those migrating over from your neighbor’s property.

A regular service is also necessary due to the relatively short residual of the products available to professionals.

Preventive Pest Control uses only products that have been registered with the Environmental Protection Agency. The residual, or length of time most products are effective against pests is approximately 60-90 days. Therefore, having regular bi-monthly/quarterly service is the only way we can provide a guarantee. As we come out on a regular basis we renew the barrier around your home to protect your family from the annoying pests that invade your home.

No. Preventive Pest Control provides the best pest control service available, and our goal is to provide you with a pest-free environment. However, pests can enter your house in grocery bags, on pets, or through the air. In addition, pests are usually area/neighborhood problems; so even though we are treating your home, pests from the surrounding area can walk, crawl, or fly onto your property and attempt to enter your home. In fact, when we treat your home the insects will be flushed out of their hiding places so you may see more pests than usual immediately after we treat your home initially. We ask that you allow 2-3 weeks for the treatment to take effect. If you are still seeing an inordinate number of pests, give us a call and we will re-service your home free of charge. By servicing your home on a regular basis, we guarantee that we will provide you with such a high level of service that you will be satisfied. If for some reason you are not satisfied, we will return and service your home free of charge.

Yes, we can service just the exterior of your home, although we do recommend that you have the interior serviced during the initial clean-out service. In fact, many people prefer that we service just the exterior of their home. Ninety-nine percent of pests that enter your home crawl or fly in from the outside. Therefore, a quality exterior regular service will usually be sufficient. However, should you need an interior service, just give us a call and we’ll be happy to provide that for you.

We will provide you with a free re-service as soon as we possibly can. We take re-services seriously and can usually be at your home the day you call or the next day.

No. When we service your home, mosquitoes that come in contact with our product will die. However, because mosquitoes can fly in from your neighbors’ property at any time they are very difficult to control. The best way to control mosquitoes is to remove all standing water from around your home and install screen doors.

The best method for treating rodents is exclusion. Mice can fit into a hole the size of a dime and rats can fit into a hole the size of a quarter. Caulking and steel wool are great for sealing holes and cracks which mice and rats use to enter. After you’ve sealed any entry points, we can implement a variety of products that will take care of rodents. We commonly use snap traps, glue boards, and rodent baiting programs. There will be a minimal charge for rats. The good news is that we won’t charge you anything extra for mice. Note: Any special service needs to be discussed with the branch manager.

No. When we service your home, flies that come in contact with the product will die. However, because flies can fly in from your neighbors’ property at any time they are very difficult to control. The best method to control flies is through sanitation and exclusion. For example, keep a lid on your trash can, make sure it is emptied on a regular basis, and install screen doors.
