IMPORTANCE OF CERTIFIED ENTOMOLOGISTS
With the years of experience required for certification, we can design pest management plans that are based on scientific principles, common sense, and best practice benchmarks. We adhere to a strict code of ethics and undergo rigorous testing to ensure expertise in pest control.
In his role as General Manager, he prioritizes and analyzes trends in order to offer the very best to Preventive Pest Control’s customers. Customer service is his highest priority and Chesley takes pride in honoring the time and abilities of those around him. “I try to identify what is most important to my clients, and understand that it may not always be whats most important to me. I think Im good at listening more than I talk.”
As the General Manager, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Preventive Pest Control and it’s staff. Chesley takes this role seriously and desires that his coworkers reach their potential and recognize and use their talents.
When he’s not working, Chesley enjoys helping others in his community, and has spent time volunteering at homeless shelters and the Juvenile Parole and Probation Office. He is an avid guitar player and singer, and enjoys when others sing along with him! Chesley cannot live without his favorite drink, Diet Mountain Dew. He enjoys discussing economics and politics with others who enjoy the same. He also greatly enjoys spending time with with his kids. Their favorite activities together are relaxing drives into the mountains and short road trips. He hopes to retire in Ramah, New Mexico, the town where he grew up.
Nathan’s dedication and focus is centered on the improvement of Preventive Pest Control’s technical ability and understanding of pests in New Mexico’s environment. He was also an instrumental part in the development and implementation of Preventive Pest Control’s additional services. Nathan’s dedication to his customer’s needs earned him the Preventive Pest Control Lifetime Achievement award for Customer Service in 2012.
Nathan is also highly devoted to the success of his employees, “I want to provide them with every opportunity to be the best in our industry, and for them to experience the satisfaction that goes along with doing their best.”
On a personal level, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He loves to support his children’s scouts, sports, and activities. He is an active individual who enjoys riding his ATV and enjoying a nice Saturday evening date with his wife. Passionate about his faith, Sunday is his family’s day of worship and he looks forward to these special times together.
After serving with the United States Marines, Alan began his 25 year career in pest management. From his start leading a Termite Treatment Crew at a family owned pest control company, he used a combination of passion, drive and dedication to start Alliance Pest Management. Alan grew and developed the Alliance team from a three person operation in 1996 to a final team of fourteen in 2005. Blessed by a wonderful opportunity, Alliance Pest Management was sold to a national pest management company in late 2005.
Alan became a certified entomologist in 2008 and honed his skills at Carter Services as the Staff Entomologist and Technical Director in charge of Quality Assurance. He continues to apply this same passion and drive as Certified Staff Entomologist with Preventive Pest since 2011. Alan is a certified/approved instructor for the New Mexico Department of Agriculture and New Mexico Real Estate Commission as well as for both the New Mexico and National Pest Management Associations. Alan currently serves as a corresponding member of the Wood Destroying Organism Committee of the National Pest Management Association.
Alan grew up and still resides in Rio Rancho, New Mexico where he makes his home with Karma, his bride of 20 years, and his college/high school aged children, Taylor and Ethan. You can often find Alan serving as a musician or sound engineer for the praise and worship team of Sagebrush Community Church/Living Free Ministry. Alongside his church, he supports Food for the Hungry, where mission teams are sent to Ethiopia to foster real relationships with sponsored children. Locally, he and his family help and support Storehouse West, Roadrunner Food Bank, and Joy Junction, which are all “Hand Up” charities with long histories.
A great off day for Alan is spent enjoying the Greater Albuquerque area with his family or friends. Reaching the Sandia peak via the La Luz trail, biking along the river, attending a Rio Rancho Rams football game, a cool morning walk, enjoying a meal at a local eatery or exploring local museums are all on Alans short list for a great day.
“We are always looking for ways to get better,” says Chelsea. “I’ve been with PPC through software upgrades, new protocols and procedures, and tons of training.” As a quick study, Chelsea combined her passions for efficiency, work ethic, and empathy to become the company’s “go to” person.
A consummate team player, Chelsea is quick to jump in and help her teammates finish their tasks. She points out that customer service starts on the inside. “I want to help my coworkers feel appreciated and valued.” She believes that a strong sense of empathy is vital to PPC’s success, and works hard to let every customer know that each call, each question or concern is important.
Chelsea is devoted to her family which includes four “rescues” from the Watermelon Mountain Ranch, a non-kill, non-profit animal shelter. She volunteers there, helping to find loving homes for abandoned animals. She enjoys taking care of her home, and her time in church.
He’s an easy-going individual who gets along with the entire staff, but is quite passionate about customer service. Even before Preventive Pest Control, Rodrigo worked at filling his clients needs. “I want to be remembered as the man who got the job done, no matter what.” His previous job included coordinating essential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. He still supports groups that offer this kind of help.
In his personal life, he is a family man that cant stop talking about his children. At the end of the day, he comes home to run “Daddy Daycare,” a job he loves. The perfect weekend would include camping, football, and eating, all in the company of my family.
Nothing makes him happier than watching his children grow into responsible young adults that work hard. He and his wife are very involved in their childrens extracurricular activities, too. He’s combined his love for football with his family devotion to help out with his son’s football team, “Go Sandia Matadors!”
